Founded by Simi Khurana, Inkwell Creation brings together decades of experience in higher education, healthcare philanthropy, fundraising, storytelling, leadership, and human-centered work. Simi holds a B.A. in Therapy and Addictions from DePaul University and a Master of Business Administration from Northern Illinois University. Her professional background spans more than 20 years in higher education, more than seven years in healthcare, and over a decade in fundraising and strategic storytelling. Her experience also includes work in addictions therapy, domestic violence advocacy, and trauma-informed practice — perspectives that continue to shape how she approaches communication, leadership, and the stories organizations are entrusted to tell. Her global upbringing adds another dimension to that work, bringing an appreciation for cultural nuance, different perspectives, and the importance of communicating in ways that allow people to feel seen and understood. At Inkwell Creation, the goal is not simply to deliver a service. It is to become a thoughtful partner in helping individuals and organizations communicate more effectively and lead with greater intention. Our work includes fundraising and content strategy, leadership workshops, career coaching, storytelling, and practical AI prompting strategies designed to help people use emerging tools more thoughtfully and effectively.
